Development Poles has been awarded a new contract for advice on combating illicit drug trafficking in Peru with a budget of € 960,000 financed by the European Union. This project is part of a global strategy of the European Union in the regional fight against drugs in Latin America in which Peru plays a key role. .

General objective:
To contribute to the national strategic objective of governance and national security established in the Bicentennial Plan (2011-2021), and thus to continued economic growth, sustainable development and poverty reduction in Peru.
Specific objectives:
1. Provide technical assistance to drug control entities in the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and follow-up of the National Anti-Drug Strategy and related policies and programs, both at the technical-operational and administrative- financial. 2. Provide advice in various fields of expertise linked to the fight against drugs and organized crime and serve as a bridge between the current Financing Agreement and a future major intervention, which is scheduled to start in 2018.
